MagicTradeBot's Management App includes an advanced module under the account settings that allows users to configure leverage across all trading pairs linked to a connected exchange account. This feature supports both setting the maximum leverage supported by the exchange and defining a manual leverage value per symbol.
The Set Leverage on All Symbols module enables account-level leverage configuration across all supported trading pairs on the connected exchange. It automates the process of applying consistent leverage values and updating running status (e.g., cross/isolated) for futures markets like Binance, Bybit, Bitget, and OKX.
How to Access the Leverage Module
- Open the MagicTradeBot Management App
- Navigate to Accounts
- Select the desired exchange account
- Right-click to open the action menu
- Choose Leverage & Status Control
⚙️ Available Settings
You can configure the following settings within this module:
-
Toggle: Enable/Disable Leverage Updates
When disabled, the module will skip updating leverage on symbols. Useful for temporarily bypassing changes. -
Toggle: Use Max Supported Leverage
When enabled, the module will automatically detect and apply the maximum leverage supported by the exchange for each symbol. -
Manual Leverage Input
You can manually specify a leverage value (e.g.,5
) to be applied across all supported symbols, if the exchange allows custom leverage. -
Toggle: Update Running Status in Bulk
Enables or disables the trading status (e.g., active/inactive) for all linked symbols at once. This is especially useful when managing large portfolios.
Note: Only symbols with running status enabled will be available for the trading bot to operate.
⏱ Processing Time
Once you submit the configuration, the system will begin updating leverage for each trading symbol. Depending on the number of symbols associated with the account, this process may take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.
📌 Notes
- Ensure your exchange API key has permission to update leverage and symbol settings.
- Max leverage values vary across exchanges and symbols; using auto-detection ensures optimal leverage.
- Manual values must comply with exchange constraints or the operation may fail for unsupported symbols.
This module helps enforce consistent leverage strategies and streamlines the setup process for managing hundreds of symbols across multiple exchanges.
